Under the blanket of oral surgery, there’s a lot of different procedures that we offer. So, you know, primarily I would say we do dental extractions. So if you have a tooth that needs to come out, we do all kinds of dental extractions here.
And we do dental implants. So in certain situations, there are teeth that we can’t save anymore. So if a tooth is broken bad enough, sometimes it does have to come out and we have to do that extraction.
I can understand that that connotation of the word surgery is scary for people, but here, you know, we’re going to make sure that there is no, there is no pain or there is no discomfort while you’re in our chair. So we use highest graded anesthetics and dental anesthesia that we can so that our patients don’t feel any kind of pain during the procedure. Afterwards, you know, we’re always just a text or a phone call away.
I talk to all of my patients after surgery the very next day and our office also calls to check in on them. We make sure that they leave here with all the medications that they’re going to need. So and every single surgery patient we see at a one-week follow-up and a two-week follow-up just to make sure everything is going okay.
You know, I’ve had a lot of patients that come in here, like you were saying, scared and didn’t want to go through any kind of surgical procedure. And after we have to do something for them the first time, you know, they’re inviting their friends and their relatives and everyone coming here because they saw that it wasn’t as bad as they were imagining.
